It has been a wonderfully liberating and empowering journey here on WordPress with my first blog. I am absolutely overwhelmed that 374 people found some resonance with my writing and signed up to my blog. Thank you to each and every one of you. Every subscription and comment added meaning and value to my offering of words.

You may have noticed that things have become a bit quiet. Over the last 12 months, we have all experienced so much change in our lives.

Our experiences have surely been disparate and diverse. Our lives have become even more rooted in the virtual world, rather than the actual soil of the planet. I do not want to digress here…

I have started a brand new blog! It is quite different to this one. My running has taken on a whole new expression and expanded in meaning. So has my writing. I want to be part of changing the world, still! Don’t we all? I want to see an end to the awful discrimination and inequality, driven by fear and hate.

Therefore, I am now campaigning and fundraising with my running. The issue that has broken my heart and focussed my attention, is the hostility at the UK border. I had my own experience of family separation during the first wave of the pandemic in 2020. You can read all about it on my new blog.

I will continue to write on here, but at least for 2021, a lot of my energy will be expended elsewhere. You can follow my running journey of fundraising and campaigning. Why not have a look and stay connected?
