Our Father
Art though in heaven?
Do you have a name?

Kingdoms and empires have come
violence, extraction and destruction is being done
on earth
so we fabricate fairy tales of heaven

Give us this day our mother back
And courage to continue our trespasses
As we forgive those
who tore us from our mother’s breast

Let our mother lead us home
to the commons
and deliver us from the landlords

For ours is the earth and sky
The wisdom of reciprocity
and the cycle of life
forever and ever
Amen.
